Most likely, you have heard the buzz words pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory foods. But what do they actually mean? I want to share my perspective on these terms and give you a very tasty smoothie that supports your digestion, immune function, and yes, includes food that is considered to reduce and/or not elicit inflammation in the body.

So…. ya.. Breakfast Pizza kinda happened and I am hooked. I was making a big batch of Matcha Pancakes, for breakfast one morning and I made too much. I decided to use the rest of the batter up, I poured it into the pan and the mixture quickly all came together making one big pancake. We had made Coconut Whip Cream that day before and I had some leftover I needed to use up… from there between the kids and I we just had fun and got creative.

My birthday always falls on or around Easter weekend, and in my family, I am responsible for the holiday meals. Throughout my posts, I have talked about the importance of simplifying and finding balance. That it is easy to get carried away on menus you designed from your Pinterest board that leave you spending hours upon hours in the kitchen, I have been there many times.

I have a bit of an obsession with Energy Balls in case you have not noticed. They are just so easy! Typically, it involves soaking some nuts and/or dates, then dumping everything into a blender, rolling them into balls and viola! you have a sweet, satisfying snack anytime.
