Many of my recipes use coconut water and discuss the use of coconut meat. I have had a few questions about where and how to access these ingredients, so I thought I would discuss some options.

Look at the color of this latte?!? It is soo beautiful. The first time I ever saw a beet latte was from a vegan cafe in Australia called Matcha Mylkbar. I saw the pictures of this beautiful ruby red latte and was determined to figure out how to make one myself. I read that the latte does not taste like beets or earthy at all, and I was pleased to taste this was true

There are foods that can cause our stomach to bloat and fill with gas, these can often be some of the healthiest foods! Lentils, broccoli, and peppers are some of the worst offenders. After certain meals, even healthy ones, we can experience that discomfort in our stomach and tightness in our waistbands. The good news is there are also foods that help reduce bloating.

Green tea has been reported to contain the highest concentration of powerful antioxidants called polyphenols in comparison to other teas. Antioxidants are known to fight free radicals which are damaging compounds in the body that can change our cell composition, damage DNA, and even cause cell death. Research suggests polyphenols have the ability to neutralize free radicals and may reduce some of the damage they can cause.
