Slow-Cooker Spiced Pumpkin Butter

Yup, it’s October and pumpkin spiced lattes are everywhere. However…. one of those pumpkin spiced coffee drinks can have twice as much sugar as a big slice of pumpkin pie!     But let’s be honest, it’s so good. There is something lovely about enjoying the flavors of pumpkin spice on crisp fall mornings when the […]

Cinnamon-Sugar Baked Apple Chips

These chips are crunchy, sweet, and totally addicting. The cinnamon-sugar topping is optional too, for an everyday snack I will just bake the apples plain or with a little cinnamon, so you can choose to omit the sugar entirely. It is important that you slice them thin, if they are left too thick then they turn mushy and will be in your over for hours and hours. A little trick is once the time is up I actually don’t remove the sheet to cool on the counter but turn the oven off and let them cool down as the oven cools down. This ensures they are nice and crunchy.

Easy 2-Ingredient Fruit Leather (Peach & Wildberry Flavors)

What I love about this recipe is I can make endless flavor combinations, it’s a great way to use up fruit that might be bruised or a little soft instead of wasting it, and you can omit the little-added sugar! You can just blend the fruit and have 1-ingredient fruit leather. With back-to-school around the corner, I am using my seasonal summer fruit to whip up a few batches for fall. This makes packing fun snacks in the lunch box a breeze while being a cost-effective way of having fruit leather.
