Each contains flavonoids, which is a group of phytochemicals that not only give these berries their vibrant color but also provide powerful antioxidant benefits that can counteract[combat?] cell damage in the body. Blueberries rank among the highest in antioxidant content of all berries; just 3.5 ounces of blueberries provide up to five times the antioxidant power found in other vegetables and fruits.

Combining these berries with the lemon zest not only enhances the flavours but also provides more Vitamin C and phytonutrients to benefit digestion and the immune system. This overnight oat recipe truly makes you feel beautiful and healthy from the inside out.
