Easy Summer Hibiscus Iced Tea

This is the perfect summer beverage to sip on your patio in exchange for commercial Ice Tea beverages.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 organic hibiscus tea bags or a filled tea ball of loose leaves
  • 4 cups boiling water
  • 1-2 dates, based on your sweetness preference
  • 1 lime, sliced
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • Boil water in a kettle. Place the tea bags in a heatproof container. Pour boiling water over the tea, add the date(s) and allow it to sit for 5-minutes.
  • Remove the tea bags, add 1/2 the lime slices and fill up with cold water. Put the container into the fridge or freezer until cold.
  • Fill glasses with ice, and the remaining lime slices, pour the tea into the ice filled glasses and enjoy.
