Digestive Berry Chia Parfait Jars

These jars are easy to assemble, are packed with protein, and you can take the base recipe and make it your own but using different fruits, yogurts, and milk-based on what you have in your home.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsweeted milk
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 medium bananas
  • 1 cup nuts or seeds or choice, chopped
  • 1/4 cup hemp seeds
  • 1 cup berries of choice
  • 1 cup yogurt of choice I used high protein greek yogurt

Instructions
 

  • Mix milk, chia seeds & cinnamon in a bowl. Let sit for 5 minutes or until the milk has become a thick jelly. Transfer into jars.
  • Next add yogurt, and banana to the milk/chia seed layer. Then add nuts followed by hemp hearts. Top with berries and enjoy! Jo
  • Note - if you have a digestive disease & nuts are not an option double your hemp seeds instead of adding chopped nuts.
