Homemade Brazilnut Butter

3 ingredient brazilnut butter! Quick, easy and versatile for snacking, baking and a good source of healthy fats and protein.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups plain brazil nuts
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • pinch fine sea salt
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil (only include if you choose to soak the nuts)

Instructions
 

  • Place the brazilnuts on a baking sheet at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes OR soak them for 2-4 hours (select method based on description above).
  • Process all ingredients in a food processor or high-powered blender until well combined, smooth and creamy. The roasted nuts take about 5-8 minutes and the soaked nuts can take 8-12 minutes.
  • Scoop it into a glass jar with a secure lid and refrigerate.

Notes

This nut butter will keep in the fridge for a few weeks.
