Anti-Inflammatory Smoothie

Fresh, light, and tart tasting is this smoothie. I really enjoy drinking it after I have over indulged when I am feeling stiff or like I am getting sick, or to support my overall digestion.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 large pink grapefruit, peeled
  • 1.5 cups coconut water or nut milk
  • 1 medium banana
  • 1/2" piece fresh turmeric peeled
  • 1/2" piece fresh ginger, peeled
  • 2-4 ice cubes
  • 1 tsp magnesium powder (optional)
  • 1 tbsp raw unsalted cashews

Instructions
 

  • Place everything into a blender and blend until smooth.
