Slow-Cooker Spiced Pumpkin Butter
Pumpkin Butter is a beautifully rich spread to have in the hours over the fall. It's buttery texture, sweet pumpkin flavors and warming spices make it like a pumpkin pie spread! What a great addition this fall.

- 2 cups roasted pumpkin puree see recipe notes or use canned
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup dark maple syrup
- 1/8 cup apple cider vinegar with mothers
- 1 tbsp vanilla (powder or vanilla bean flesh) vanilla extra is fine too
- 1 tbsp freshly grated ginger 1 tsp ground ginger will work too
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp allspice
- 1/4 tsp pink Himalayan or celtic sea salt
Place everything into a slow cooker for 4 hours on low. Allow cooling.
insert an immersion blender or scoop it into a blender and process until everything is smooth.
Trasfer into jars and store in the fridge for 3 weeks.
