Joanna Brown is an award-winning Certified Holistic Health & Life Design Coach, CEO, Philanthropist, Corporate Wellness Specialist, and Wellness Business Consultant. Her work inspires adults, professionals, and entrepreneurs to define their own version of health and create their own blueprint for happiness. She is a Leading whole-living educator, mental health expert, blogger, and successful multipreneur helping busy people achieve balance.


In addition, Joanna is a graduate of the University of Calgary, holding a Bachelor of Community Rehabilitation & Health Studies Degree, which a focus on Mental Health. She has been the Co-Director of a non-profit grass-roots organization that works collaboratively with marginalized groups to improve access within the areas of health & wellness for the past 13 years. Concurrently she graduated from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition as she saw glaring gaps within the current health landscape in the areas of mental health, disability, and food access for those living in poverty.


During her work in the community health sector, she has continued on with post-secondary education and training in the areas of Plant-Based Culinary Arts, Anti-Oppressive & Trauma-Informed Practice, Intersectional Wellness, Intuitive Eating, Cognitive Behavioral & Life Coach Training, & Meditation. She also holds her Rehabilitation Practitioner Diploma from Grant McEwan University.

Upon graduating from CSNN she opened her own business, Rejoice Nutrition & Wellness. She enjoys a particular focus in her practice in the areas of nutrition for busy womxn, stress-related health concerns, anxiety, depression, hormones, mindset,  and digestive concerns of all kinds.

She is a teacher at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and is passionate about teaching others in the field of holistic nutrition, and offering Business Strategy Coaching to nutrition & wellness entrepreneurs.

Joanna also volunteers as an active national board member in the area of food insecurity to improve food access, food quality, and affordability at both the community and policy levels. In 2016, Joanna Founded, The Healthful Hamper Food Drives for the Edmonton Food Bank and brings together many profit and non-profit businesses in the community together to participate in addressing food insecurity issues and as a way to support families that are food insecure. 
It was for this community work that she was awarded the Community Leader Award from Avenue Magazine as one of Edmonton’s Top 40 under 40 in 2018. She was awarded the 2019 National Danielle Perrault Trailblazer Award from CSNNAA. She is a National Best-Selling Author, and her work has been published in over a dozen magazines across North American.
Joanna can be found at various speaking engagements in and around Alberta and globally in online wellness events. She loves teaching those that are passionate about fostering healthier and inclusive communities.
